Whilst out on my errands today in Bath with Wifeage™, I happened to catch sight of my pushbike, the one I had stolen from outside our first floor apartment recently. It was being ridden by a young scrotum wearing the usual indiscriminate dark blue padded jacket with the hood up. It was also wearing a dark blue beanie hat. The little tyke was soon out of running distance, however, this still put a spring in my step. Wifeage™ and I were a mere five minutes walk away from where we presently live. The present 'owner' of my pushbike could clearly be seen riding around a car park nearby, perhaps looking for an opportunist car stereo to pilfer or some other such prize for its magpie-type thieving little mitts.

Not five minutes later, we saw two members of the local constabulary. I took this opportunity to ask what the most appropriate procedure would be if I were to chance upon my bike again in such a way, asking if I were obliged to simply take back my rightful property, and the good news is that I am of course obliged to do just that, using any reasonable means necessary. When asked to clarify 'reasonable means', this was elaborated to include 'self-defence' in the event of being attacked, but clearly not 'punching out the lights' of the rider to start with. I was also advised to telephone the station where I reported my bike as stolen at the next available opportunity, preferably there and then, to clear the matter up, in the (unlikely) event that the bike had been bought in good faith by its present 'owner'.

I can see this leading to a bit of fun, dear readers.

Have a great week, one and all.

I succumbed to a new cell phone recently. Even though the box it arrived in was sealed, I have a suspicion that it had either a previous owner who was strangely fond of primates, or that some bored worker at the Sony Ericsson plant had a thing for simian tomfoolery. I wish I could delete the pictures, but alas, they are protected files.

R.I.P. Mr. Pitney

This morning, Wifeage™ and I were fortunate enough to be able to see a free advance screening of this movie. In all honesty, it rates as one of the most thought provoking movies we have seen in quite some time. The casting is superb, and as stated elsewhere, Mr Timothy Spall turns in a stellar performance. Wifeage™ and I urge you all to go and see this movie as soon as you can.

I am currently redesigning my entire website with a view to include a number of new features related to the (I am told) eclectic number of things that make me who and what I am today. This overhaul will see a number of rather ambitious additions, as opposed to its current spartan yet random list of links in no discernible order. There will be included impressive amounts of information related to equestrianism, to music (genres indeterminate), to deaf and hard of hearing issues, to blind and visual impairment issues, to my life as a student, to life in general, to politics and current affairs, to my more benevolent nature and charitable work, and to my friends as a showcase for their never-ceasing array of skills and talents. Other things will no doubt feature as I go along. This overhaul is going to take rather longer than usual, however, I promise it will be worth the wait. I have already made a start on the equestrian section, and will be posting accordingly once the new site is ready for viewing. In the meantime, does anybody feel so kind as to educate me further in the arts of Flash?

Have a superb weekend, y'all!
